Use of lighting

In our sequence we would like to use lights to emphasise the thrill of the clip. what we would like to do is light up the house we will be filming in or around. the house will be run down and abandoned and the environment surrounding the house will be dark, gloomy and not really visible to the audience.  The use of low key lighting will emphasise this location's creepiness and match our actual sequence. something a bit like this but more visible.
