Storyboarding

This is an example of how crucial a storyboard is and how you should stick to it as near as possible. This film has stuck to this storyboard exactly. The storyboard includes camera movements aswell which is very helpful when creating a storyboard as you can create a clearer image and be able to fit it with the next shot. Especially at 0.46 we can see the storyboard is not just about pictures, as it it hard to create detail to how a moving image will look. The shading from the drawings also gives us a clear indication of the lighting involved, with dark shading in one area we know which angles the lighting will come from and whether it is low key or key or high key. You can also see clearly the mise en scene of the shots which is crucial when filming, especially having clear the location and props, which at this stage should be finalised.
