Interview

I interview a male teenager about his expectations and what he expects to see when he goes to see a thriller at the pictures or see one at home.
Firstly and his main point to the interview was that it has to have suspense and it has to make him fell tense also he mentioned that its got to keep him excite throughout and a keep him thinking about the film and making him try to resolve it himself in his head throughout the film. He also said that the film being scary but realistic scariness "like it could happen in real life" was a key feature and this is something he really likes in a thriller something that could relate to the real world.
I then told him the ideas for our film and what it was set to be like, and he said that he liked the fact that it was realistically scary and had realistic events in it that could happen. Then i went on to say about the editing techniques we would be using such a blurred edges around the film and time lapses and he said this would add a good effect and make it look more professional and the blurred edges and black and white effects give it a rustic feel and make it look more thrilling.
I then talked about the setting and props and the fact we were going for quite low-key lighting and old looking worn down props that add to the loneliness of the sequence and the overall story.

Overall i think the interview was successful because it just shored up that we got most things right in our film and are likely to attract an audience to our film and follow most peoples wants and would likes to a thriller of this kind.
