Filming

I feel that our filming went to plan, and we made the most of the time we had with the equipment.


The equipment and props we used was;

• Canon recording camera?
• Tripod
• Two lighting filters- Red and white/soft
• Spotlight and stand
• Candles
• Stack of paper
• Notepad and pen
• Thick tartan blanket
• Wooden chair
• Kitchen knife
• Ketchup

The red filter we used in some of the shots worked well and achieved the serious, danger look we was hoping for. In these shots, the main characters insanity is very obvious. We did use the 'soft lighting' filter in a few of the shots, especially at the beginning, but didn't have as much affect and atmosphere as the red filter provided.
We had to overcome a slight problem when filming, as we planned to use the fish eye lens the college owns but unfortunately it was missed off our equipment list and we didn't take it. We then decided the fish eye effect on final cut could be applied to our shots instead.
