We have finished all of our filming now and overall the process went well. As a group we took turns to play different roles within the filming, this being director, cinematographer and prop and location designer. We stuck to the storyboard to almost the exact and was lucky to not receive any problems that could have made us go off track of the storyboard.
The mise en sence for our filming was:
location: corner of a living room to give the idea of a normal environment in contrast to the female character.
props: table, candle, notebook, documents, clock, knife
costume: female character in a nighty with her hair messy and make up imperfect
lighting: low key lighting with red filters at more intense parts
Overall we thought very hard about these elements and how to use them effectively. We think we have done this well to create the atmosphere and narrative clearly the with connotations of a thriller.
